July 9, 2001. With the release of NS Basic/Palm 2.0, NS BASIC Corporation announced new pricing for its NS Basic/Palm and NS Basic/CE products.
The single user license price will now be $149.95. Until the end of August, 2001, the company is running a Summer Special, reducing the price to just $99.95. Customers buying both NS Basic/CE and NS Basic/Palm will be able to do so at a special price of just $249.95. The Summer Special on the combined package is $179.95.
In addition, the company has announced new Enterprise licenses. For $449.95, a company can buy a license for an unlimited number of programmers at a single site, with a Summer Special of just $399.95. NS Basic/Palm and NS Basic/CE can be purchased together for $749.95, with a Summer Special of $699.95. A single user license can be upgraded to an Enterprise license for $299.95.
As always, there is no charge to distribute applications created using NS Basic.
"More and more of our sales are coming from larger corporations", said George Henne, President of NS BASIC Corporation. "This new pricing structure will allow enterprises to more easily obtain NS Basic on the terms they require."
