NS Basic/Symbian OS 1.2 released!

Features include UI Improvements, support for more devices

April 28, 2009 -- NS BASIC Corporation announced today that NS Basic/Symbian OS 1.2 is shipping. It features an improved user interface for applications created with the tool, support for Symbian OS S60 5th Edition and more.

NS Basic/Symbian OS has a VB like look and feel, making it the easiest way to develop apps for Nokia smartphones. Major features of the new release are:

Applications developed with NS Basic/Symbian OS are distributed royalty free. NS Basic/Symbian OS 1.0 normally costs $149.95 USD for a single user, with an introductory special of $129.95. Pro licenses, which allow full application signing, are $299.95. The toolkit runs on Windows 2000, XP and Vista. The product is available immediately from the company's website.
