It is nice to see that NSBasic applications are running in various fields. Many entries here are truly professional tools and written for specific targets. It seems that applications in this category are getting more popular in the market.

HandEvent is a service that lets conference and tradeshow managers provide conference material to their attendees on the their Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).

Judge's Comments: This could be very handy for exhibition visitors. Well prepared features and the program could easily thrive by working with different exhibitions.

FlashZi+ is a flashcard system for Chinese characters. It is a program to memorize Chinese characters in GB or Big5 in a fast way. It is very easy to use and different from other flash card systems.

Judge's Comments: With this tool you can learn Chinese characters anywhere. Different modes to help you learn better.

JMapNavigator by Toshiro Takeuchi
With this software you can memorize locations and capital cities of Japanese prefectures. It displays a Japanese Map and is capable of writing memo for each prefecture.

Judge's Comments: Too many prefectures in the country! Nice tool for adults as well as kids to learn Japanese geography.

A program to help a teacher collect pupil's data for every lesson. It also helps to summarize the data in different ways. It's possible to import/export data to Excel.

Judge's Comments:This is a good start: the hard part of collecting and displaying seems to be done. The next step to to polish it more: add some nice icons, build it into a single executable, etc.

PedBase by Mike Verive
PedBase is a database of over 550 pediatric diseases, ported from the original HTML format and iSilo format to NSBasic-readable format. PedBase takes advantage of NSBasic's keyed access for quick response even on the slower devices, and adds beaming, DOC and MemoPad export, and printing using PalmPrint or SCSPrint.

Judge's Comments: Very fast look up. Clean and nice database app example.

RMRBank (Palm) - Personal Accounts Program   is a comprehensive finance package for the Palm OS series of platforms. RPDatabase by Mark Sharp
RPDatabase is a radiopharmaceutical database/health physics calculator written in NSBasic 3. The program contains a database of package insert information for about 80 radiopharmaceuticals. You can look up radiopharmaceuticals by drug name, or by targeted organ system.

Judge's Comments: Well designed. Good amount of content. Easy to navigate.

Solfeggio ! by Jean-Philippe Pasquier
Musical theory learning, for individuals or schools. Solfeggio ! is a software to improve your musical theory level.

Judge's Comments: This is a simple little program that could certainly be expanded upon. It's a great concept!

UBI Realty by Paul Stewart
Designed for use by Real Estate Professional and Real Estate Investors. It provides a complete mobile solution for evaluating and collecting data on real estate you are interested in purchasing while on the road. It is especially helpful in purchasing distressed real-estate and allows you to catalog repairs against the property, taxes owed, purchase prices and calculates estimated profits on the fly. It collects the following groups of data pertinent to real-estate.

Judge's Comments: Many features. Well laid out. A search function would make it handier, yet it's a high quality application.
